Company Background

ALisa Starkweather is a certified Shadow Work® facilitator since 1995 and actively involved since 1993. She is part of the founding Shadow Work® Guild. ALisa is one of the original co-founders and designers of Women in Power and is known for her passionate archetypal work that focuses on empowerment, healing, community and ritual.

In 1998 she founded the women's mystery school, Priestess Path Apprenticeship, out of her belief that women need a strong container to embody an archetype that includes one's power, spirituality, and innate gifts. Priestess Path is an opportunity for a woman to connect with the earth and to challenge her own belief of what is possible. There are over 200 graduates, women leaders in their own right, who collectively join together with ALisa for 8 to 13 weekends.

ALisa is also the founder of the Women's Belly and Womb Conference that honors all stories womanhood embodies and aims to bring women together as a force to be reckoned with for global change. In 2005 she founded Daughters of the Earth Gatherings which bring women leaders together on land that is solar powered and raises five women's temples and ceremonial sites where women council and face the challenges of classism, racism and overcoming internal oppression as well as tapping into our wisdom for new paradigm shifts. This happens with extraordinary teachers and leaders and also ceremonies, circles and workshops celebrating the sacred feminine. By 2007 ALisa launched the Red Tent Temple Movement, a grassroots action where women in their own local areas raise a Red Tent one day a month in support of one another. She is a inspirational teacher at many conferences and gatherings nationwide and recently was a presenter at Making Way for the Feminine for the Benefit of the World Community in Jaipur, India.

She has three recordings of her original chants, Daughter of the Earth, Calling Us Home and Women Rise Up. Besides the women's work that ALisa is avidly involved with, she also was a pioneer in gender work in the 1980's. As a certified Transformational Breath facilitator, she leads large mixed groups in breath work and men and women's healing rituals that focus on compassion, dialogue and multi-perspective thinking.

ALisa is available for life coaching, counseling, public speaking, and facilitating workshops for private and corporate groups who want further development of leadership, community and communication skills.

You can find her in Massachusetts gardening, hiking, writing, dancing, and asking deep questions of life by living with the commitment to be here with a full heart.

Feel free to contact her directly at (978) 939-5366 or alisastar@aol.com. Visit her website, AlisaStarkweather.com for more information.
